This week we installed an indiviudal RPC brushed stainless steel letter main ID sign for Facilitec in Phoenix, AZ. The letters are mounted to an existing steel I-beam strucutre. The stainless steel letters are 3″ deep with black returns and are then mounted to water jet-cut 3/16″ thick steel plate backers. The backers have welded steel mounting flanges that bolt to the lower web of the existing steel I-beam. The “wave” logo portion of the sign is also brushed stainless RPC fabrication mounted to a welded steel armature that attaches to the I-beams on both ends of the sign.

We recently completed a new monument sign for Quadrangles Village Apartments in Tempe after their original one was damaged by a vehicle. The original was a CMU monument with an etched tile face.

The new monument shown below is flat cut aluminum plate lettering on a painted aluminum cabinet with a CMU base. The change from tile to aluminum plate was due to vandalism problems that they had with the original tile face monument. The new sign has a faux tile painted finish to match the original look.

Last month we completed a project for UMOM New Day Centers which encompassed all of the signage for their new main campus at 3333 East Van Buren in Phoenix.
UMOM, a nonprofit that provides housing and services to the homeless, purchased and remodeled two existing hotels. The result is a new campus offering 96 emergency shelter units, 60 transitional shelter units and a array of services including a wellness center, chilcare center, large dining facility and much more.
For the project signage we focused on durability and value. Different signage types included a main wall sign, an internally illuminated directory, building ID panels, pedestrian directionals, corridor directionals, unit numbers, vehicle directionals, and much more.

Last week, TS&G installed a sign for Sonoran Sky Pediatrics in Mesa, AZ. The sign has LED lit Pan Channel letters directly mounted to the building. A translucent vinyl film applied to the surface gives it the vibrant blue color and the returns are painted a bronze color.
